The target compounds are organohalogen compounds, PAHs, and other emerging pollutants. The target engineering processes include water treatment and gas cleaning, and solid\/liquid waste treatment in such environmental media as water, air, soil, and sediment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gels.okayama-u.ac.jp\/kokusaisyakaizin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/environmental-measurement-and-control-f01.jpg\" alt=\"\"  class=\"aligncenter\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gels.okayama-u.ac.jp\/kokusaisyakaizin\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/environmental-measurement-and-control-f02.jpg\" alt=\"\"  class=\"aligncenter\"\/><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Safe and appropriate disposal treatment of waste water, flue gas, and solid\/liquid waste, and developing further technology for recovering materials\/energy from waste<\/h2>\n<div class=\"columns\">\n<div>\n<p>Various exhausts, such as wastewater, flue gas, and other anthropogenic waste emissions should be appropriately and safely disposed.
