Development of production, postharves and transortaton technologies for the promotion of exporting Japanese fresh fruits to east asian and southeast asian countries

In order to promote the export of Japanese fresh fruits, development of production and quality estimation techniques that maches requirements of markets in importing countries and establishment of postharvest and trasnpoation techniques to maintain freshmess during long transportoin periods and polong storage- and shelf-lives are attempted. Co-labolated exportation activities by five prefectures with the supports of experts are also programmed, in which measurements of factors related to fruit qyalities and sensor tests by buyers at importing countries and by specialist from production areas are schduled.
