New challenges for mathematical modeling in clinical medicine

◆JST Strategic Basic Research Programs CREST
◆Leader: Hiroshi Suito
◆Period: FY2015-FY2020

This research project is expected to contribute to society through application of mathematical modeling to clinical medicine. Our targets include wide-range approaches such as ascertaining various disease mechanisms using high-quality numerical simulations, extracting algorithms from the accumulated experiences of skilled physicians, and formulating high-performance medical image processing techniques. These challenging goals can be achieved through close collaboration between mathematical science and clinical medicine.
