Co-Organizing of International Symposium on Application of Advanced Technologies in Agriculture (AATA)

On the 2nd October, Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science has co-organized the International Symposium on Application of Advanced Technologies in Agriculture (AATA) with 02 Vietnamese universities, Van Hien University and Can Tho University.
This international symposium focused on the fields of science and technology, biotechnology, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, commercial services which can be all applied in agricultural production. This includes fields of crops, farm animal, fisheries and aquaculture, food and other related fields.

In the opening ceremony, Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Prof. Hiroaki Funahashi was invited to give keynote speech along with a short introduction of Okayama University and the graduate school.

To share information, knowledge and experience in research, totally 09 professors and 08 graduate students from Okayama University have participated and presented about their current research online from Japan.

The symposium was originally planned to be on-site in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, however, due to COVID-19, the symposium has been held both online and offline.

Even under this unfortunate situation, all the participants from Japan, Vietnam and Germany have actively shared their knowledge and exchanged discussions to deepen their understanding and knowledges, and cerebrated successful and fruitful symposium at the end.
