The seminar was held to encourage local students to study in Japan as part of the “Study in Japan Global Network Project (ASEAN),” with which Okayama University has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Representing Okayama University’s Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Professor FUJIWARA Takeshi gave a lecture on the theme “Waste Management and Recycling,” and Professor MURATA Yoshiyuki provided information regarding studying in Japan. Furthermore, a faculty member of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, who earned a doctoral degree from Okayama University, talked about the experience of studying in Japan, introducing specific stories.
