Entrance ceremony for the “Okayama-Hue International Master’s Program” 11th course students held

On September 15, an entrance ceremony was held for eight “Okayama-Hue International Master’s Program” 11th course students in Hue, Vietnam.

President Hirofumi Makino; Executive Vice President for International Affairs Hiroshi Kanzaki; Dean of Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science Hiroaki Funahashi, Hue University President Nguen Quang Linh, and Rector of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry Le Van An, attended the ceremony, in addition to alumni of the course and 10th course students currently studying in Hue. During this course, first-year students take specialized agricultural and environmental classes at Hue University and a six-month Japanese language training from instructors at Hue University of Foreign Languages, then transfer to Okayama University as a second-year graduate student to complete their Master’s degree. A number of exceptional Vietnamese students have gone through this course.
